What I would like to do is be a famous and well respected (and very well paid) photographer with lots of interesting assignments. Being paid to go on luxury cruises to photograph the sun rising over the pyramids and safaris to get an elusive shot of a rare and endangered beast . . . The reality is probably very different indeed.
And honestly, were I not doing what I do how could I meet, and help such wonderful and varied people from so many walks of life? This week alone my clients have included a logistics expert, a full time wife and mother, a police officer, a holistic therapist, a teacher . . . its very wonderful to get a glimpse into all these lives - and to learn this magical simple fact, we are all the same.
Honestly we are. The things that divide us are very superficial. For sure one person may have more money, or live in a bigger house, or drive a "better" car. But the things that make us the same, the things that matter, love, dreams, fear of loneliness, our children, illness. These are recurring themes in all our lives.
Which is one of the reasons that I love the Tarot so much. The stories and emotions that are revealed in these wonderful cards are the emotions and stories that effect all of us. If you have never had a Tarot reading why not, find a good reader and give it a try, I think you may well be surprised.
